Design Thinking Workshop

Design thinking, a methodology made famous by IDEO and Stanford’s d.school, fosters iterative problem solving and the creation of human-centered products. This 2 hour workshop will have you explore a design problem using the design thinking method, and will challenge you to empathize with your user, define user needs, rapidly brainstorm, prototype, and test concepts.

Design Challenge: We will be presenting you with a real world systems problem in the context of everyday life, requiring an innovative and out of the box solution.

Why you should attend: This design challenge will help you understand and use the design thinking process. You will experience the value of fast iteration, rapid prototyping, and direct feedback. You will pivot around the problems you face in this workshop, and can use these skills in your startup, school, or extracurricular work.
