As an actor, director, and vocal coach, Ms. Thuma’s credits include the Dallas Theater Center, Pittsburgh Public Theater, The International Poetry Forum, Three Rivers Shakespeare Festival, Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival, Quantum Theatre, Penn State Centre Stage, and independent films by Tony Buba and Brady Lewis. Currently Assistant Professor of Voice and Speech at Penn State School of Theatre, her extensive teaching experience includes Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and Syracuse University Department of Drama. A Linklater trained actress and certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework, she brings a unique array of approaches to voice and text work for the actor.
